At Bridlewood Farm (formerly Ricnor Park Paint & Quarter Horses) our aim is to produce horses with movement, conformation and presence of World Class quality in halter and performance events. See our news page to see our recent results.
We first became involved in the Western Horse Industry in 1995 when we purchased a black & white Paint weanling filly called 'Pearl Jam' (PJ). We had come from a Warmblood/show jumping background and had zero knowledge of anything western. Needless to say a steep learning curve began.
In 2003 we imported 'Intensity' a 2 x Reserve World Champion Paint Stallion who under our ownership continued on with his showing success to go on to a Top 3 win at the World Paint Horse Congress and became an Australian National Champion in Open & Amatuer, a National Champion Sire & National Champion Futurity Sire as well as a Australian Halter Showcase Champion himself. Intensity made us very proud and we are honoured to have owned such an outstanding horse.
We pride ourself on breeding horses which remain affordable without sacrificing quality.

After a break of 18 months we are pleased to be returning to the show ring late in 2010. Keep an eye out for our beautiful mare RP Totally Intense and our foals due in September and making their debut to the show ring in 2011.

Bronte was bred by us and is our current show horse. She is has an exceptional nature and bloodlines to match. Her sire (click on his name for further details) is a 2 x Reserve World Champion and sire of Australian National Champions plus many futurity winners. Bronte's dam is also owned by us and has her ROM in halter before being retired due to injury.

Dam of PHAA Champion #238 RP Totally Intense a RP Integrity who is only 1 point away from also being a PHAA Champion.
PJ was our first Paint horse and was purchased at only 1 week old in 1995. She is the dam of the very well performed gelding RP Integrity and his full sister RP Totally Intense.
PJ has her ROM in halter however due to an injury was unshown under saddle.
PJ was sold in 2009 to the Montgomery family however they kindly allowed me to purchase back my girl in 2011.
PJ is in foal to Invited Tiger for an early September 2012 foal.
